Nice early McDaniel cue with gabon ebony forearm, five floating dagger points separated by genuine ivory ovals. Gabon ebony butt sleeve has reverse matching five dagger points and geniune ivory inlay ovals, nickel-silver rings at base of butt and joint. Ivory "dogbone" rings above and below and original black and white specked Irish linen wrap.

Comes with a single 13 mm original shaft with just extremely minor bluing in the shaft. Stainless steel piloted 5/16 x 14 joint. Adjustable weight bolt, current cue weight is 19 ounces. Everything rolls true both together and apart.

Price is $1200. Includes shipping via USPS Priority mail fully insured, payment by Paypal preferred.

This is a beautiful ebony cue to behold from a sought after cuemaker. A wonderful player at a very reasonable price. I don't expect it to be listed for long.

very nice cue, how old is cue and what are the dagger inlays made of? looks like a burl, maybe amboyna but not sure? also otherthan the ivory inlays, is there any other ivory in this cue, i.e.buttcap, ferrules ? very nice McDaniel...let me know these details and i will pm offer if interested

McDaniel cue

I don't think that the butt cap is ivory. From what I have learned this cue dates back to the mid to late 1990's. The daggers are amboyna burl, natural red/orange coloration. All in all a very sharp cue from a noted cuemaker whose cue values are only going up since his retirement.

I Shoot with one now and i regret getting rid of the other one i have... I may have to put up a post that i am looking for the cue to buy it back !

Big Tattoo, well I found it for you. May be for sale here as soon as next week, unless I choose to keep it for myself.

There were only about 40 cues like this made in a few different wood selections. Only 5-6 just like this one, which is the best of all to me. I do love the ebony!

I hope to close my deal on this cue by early next week, then we got action!
 
Back to the dagger cue

Okay, as far as the McDaniel dagger cue I have not had anyone tell me they were sending payment so there is just enough time for somebody who wants a buzzer beater deal. Several very interested buyers in the mix. PM me ASAP though if you want it, I am checking regularly throughout the day. We can have this settled by dinnertime.

I started it by posting the lazy z here! I knew it would start something.

Big Tattoo I just looked at your peacock cues link and WOW. The diamond one is stunning. Well if you like the photos of mine and are interested I should have it in my hands by midweek. Unbelievable, and the amboyna burl cues just awesome.

Back to the dagger cue, who an obvious expert says is very cheaply priced BTW. Let's get a buyer today, PM me now, first to pay gets it for $1,200 delivered.

I love the enthusiasm for this cuemaker, nice to see.

McDaniel cue

The buyer I tought I had a done deal with is hesitating a bit and renegotiating the price downward so this cue may be available still for all out there who are interested. I have 2 buyers who say they are ready to buy and a third in China who can't figure out what she wants:wink:

I underestimated the demand for this cue, that is more than I anticipated, my bad, but I learned some things here. So this is how it will work today for this obviously sought after and well priced cue.

To the buyers I have responded to this morning to by PM and email you get first chance at purchasing this by mid day today. After that the windw reopens and whoever sends payment gets it. I have contacted the buyers above and they know it's open to all after 1pm ESTand these are my firm price. I will not waiver from these.

$1200 shipped in the continetal US
or
$1300 shipped overseas due to extra shipping costs
Both methods will be insured and delivery confirmation

So PM me with questions, offers ect... after 1pm it's back up for sale.
