Contact - a cueball control game

When does a turn end?

You keep shooting when both, the lowest ball, and either striped ball is contacted by the cueball.
You lose your turn when you don't score a point, scratch or commit a foul.
You could play a safety on your opponent, lose your turn, and then have ball in hand for your next turn.

If you don't know how the balls react, or why they react the way they do, this sounds like a good way to learn where the cb is going. Even if you do use "systems", it sounds like a good way to fine tune. Think I will give it a try.

Sort of like 10 Ball with some billiards aspect thrown in. Sounds interesting.

I don't believe it said whether or not it was call shot though.

I used to play a similar came. Used the 1,2and 3 ball. Spotted on the head, center and foot spot. Every shot must be a carom for 1 point. Pocket a ball w/carom and you get the value of the ball. Carom off all 3 balls for 3 points. So max on a single shot is 9 points by caroming all 3 and pocketing all 3. Balls that are pocketed are spotted before the next stroke. Loose your run points on a scratch.

For me it was a great game to get in stroke.

What is reverse pool?

I'm looking for a game that improves my safety play.

Very simple really played just like 9 ball or as 8 ball. The difference is after the break you cue the object ball, shoot it at the CB and then the object ball must carom off the CB into the desired pocket. Continue as either game would, cueing the next object ball off the CB and into the pocket.

Might the best game for learning to control and direct whitey.
