Up for sale or trade is a DP-411 with three shafts. One of the shafts is just under 12.75 314-2 and it is good condition. $450 OBO Purchased this cue from Buddy Hall a couple months back, and it's been mainly sitting in my locker. I do like it, but I have other cues I like more. I know this is a DP (not like the ones he's crankin out on ebay) but it's an older one. It's made well. Believe me, I've had the crappy ebay kind, I found out the hard way.

The other two shafts are somewhere around 12.75 as well. The joint is stainless steel Uni-Loc. There is ebony in the points and handle, and purple heart and what appears to be some kind of steel inlay in the butt.
The cue does play well, but not light out, and besides, I'm just not a big fan of Predator anymore.

PM me if interested.

DP Cue

I honestly couldn't tell you when it was made. All I know is that this is not one of those junky quickies he's selling on Ebay. I actually bought one of those just to see, and trust me, it was junk. I know that this cue is not junk just because of the materials used and the time it took to do these inlays. They're nicely done and somewhat intricate.

The forearm is Curly Maple and the points and handle are Ebony. The shafts hit quite a bit different than the ebay DP, and I wouldn't mind playing with it, I just want to move on to something else. Billiard Warehouse and Budget Cues are selling them for $480 brand new. I also have a 314-2 that I paid $250 for.

What I do know for sure is that this is a quality made cue. This is the cue I acquired from Buddy Hall on a trade deal. I have no idea where he got it. Thanks for looking.

i had the one with the dice on the butt ...think it was dp-412....and i sold it like a idiot..they play waaay better than people think....

It's an older DP bumper. It also has a UniLoc joint, which the eBay DPs don't come with.

I've got a non-eBay DP and it's a nice playing cue. Not as good as my Guffey, but close. Dale still makes a very good cue, but you've got to pay enough to get one he's made and not one of his assistants.

the rubber bumber looks like his "newer" style. Any idea when this cue was made?
