I searched up their site, they make a lot of very very nice cues. But the price, the price! They sure take enough money for the cues, i know they are full of ivory and they look very intricate indeed but still. I have never heard of them, do they sell alot of cues in Germany? And how much do you want for your cue?

Hi All,
Marcus (Arthur Cue) is the best German Cuemaker and he was on the Stoud Show, you can look some high end Cues on Bill Grassleys Site.
He sale a lot Cues for German Liga Players.
The Hit is very Stiff.
The Retail Price from this Cue was 8000 US.
I want sell for 6500 US include shipping.
Regards,
Ralf

they are some of the best constructed and have a incredibly stiff hit!
What makes their construction some of the best?..Also a stiff hit makes a cue worth $8000???? The stiffer the cue the harder it is to be accurate in my opinion. Any cuemaker can make their cues play more stiff by simply changing the taper of the shaft....Mostly I would like to know about their construction and what makes it the best.....Just curious ...And dont think Im picking on you Bill they make beautiful cues ...Im not knocking them...Im just a little stunned by their prices......Cosmo

What amazes me even more is that the outer inlays and points are all CNC!!! For these prices, I would expect recut points! Not that they aren't nice, and I know Ernie does it the same way. I still like the Icarus scrim work on the one Bill has on his site. Does he do is own or does he fee it out?

where is jimbo when you need him. this topic is his specialty?

i only have one question about the cue. i have been told how good of a cuemaker this guy is. if that is true, why is everything rounded? i've seen production cues with sharper cnc'd points? if he charges a premium, which i can see he does, then why doesn't he go the extra % and make everything sharp.

nothing against the maker or the cue, i'm just curious what you guys think about that?

I think..........I'd better not say, but who needs a copy of a gina made from a cuemaker in germany to begin with!! He can sell all he wants to the germans but we have a lot of BETTER cuemakers right here in america that are making much better cues for the money. No,I havent played with this cuemakers cue, dont care,Its the archer not the arrow! :D

Maybe the Cuemakers in America better, but we make the best Cars in the World, why have so much American People German Cars(best quality you can by lol).In the Future we have also the best Cuemakers ;-).

No don't hold back.. you want me to say it? I will. Before I gave 30k or more for an unproven commodity, I would order 30 cues from Cory Barnhart or spend it on 5-8 cues from Mottey / White. Better yet, I would invest in a KNOWN bluechip cue like a Bushka / Boti / Gina.

Joe (--- BTW its a nice looking cue minus all the heavy radii
