Just a word of warning to all about dealing with ock (Karl).
After talking with him every other day for six weeks, I finally accepted his offer to buy his SW, then he just stopped communicating. About 10 days later he came back and said that it was sold. (i.e., after I agreed to his price, he went out and tried successfully to get a better price.) That's dirty, but fine... live and learn.
Then to make it worse, he came back to me a month later and said the same cue is for sale again. Again, I said "I'll take it" but this time I want to use an escrow service. He REALLY didn't want to do that (red flag), but we finally agreed to use the escrow of his choice, and he was supposed to send the cue. Karl again stopped all communication, and finally came back two weeks later and said the cue was no longer for sale...
This guy touts himself as the "Cornerstone of Singapore" when in fact he's actually cheated Bill out of nearly $1,000 and made no effort to repay. Karl, don't ruin Bill's impeckable reputation by associating yourself with him.
I'm glad I didn't lose any money to him, but this is not the kind of person we need conducting business here. Take my advice, and stay clear before worse happens to you.
