Hi all,
First, sorry to MOD here about this thread. But I don't know where I should post it.
Second, sorry to all person who read the thread about me and snowmon. That thread make us feel sorry.
There is miss-understanding about "original" word. To me, in Vietnam, it means shaft must be made by Joe Gold, not other person. And the shaft have been peeled the finish layer as normal. We didn't get point each other.
Dale, I'm not a cheater as you thought. I have 2 offers. Let me know which offer you'd like:

Offer 1: I'll give you $50 for this inconvenience. OR
Offer 2: We'll trade back. The shipping fee we share together.

Good to see you make it right :thumbup::thumbup:

bklynjava, you knew who I am before AZ close raffle thread. Thanks for your input.

Yes we did good business in the raffles. Sometimes miscommunication causes a problem, but all honest sellers/buyers will usually come to an arrangment to make things right.

Bravo Huy...

I like this idea, might be able to offer a box of pirated movies as well? That little extra? :P But in all seriousness I like these ideas, hope you two will be able to work it out.

FWIW this is why I like to take detailed pictures of everything before shipping. After the items are shipped misunderstandings and corrections become hugely painful.

What is for sale

Can't you settle this in private, and leave the for sale forum for actual sales?
I think you have wasted enough of all AZ members time and space on page ONE

As big of a fuss as it already is, I figured it's not bad to let us dealers know they are doing the right thing. At least their reputation would remain respected and people won't have to worry THAT much when dealing with both parties in the future. I agree with you we had too much unwanted side information in this section, though.

Huysmall, it's great to see you stepped up take appropriate action to resolve this misunderstanding. Best of luck!

Just move this thread to the main forum.

And buy my Barnharts.

:)

What an insult!!

Ok Huy (even though I know your full of ____!) I'll give you the word original..You misunderstood... fine..

Now explain to me where you misunderstood when I asked What is the condition...any dings, dents, blemishes, etc.
Why didn't you mention the peeling when I asked about condition? Did you misunderstand the word CONDITION? You told me the cue was nearly excellent condition??

Ok Huy here's the one I don't understand..I asked you...Where did you purchase the cue from?
Your answer was My friend in USA purchased this brand new cue and brought it to Vietnam for me.

Huy here's a pm that I received from a person that met you in a pool hall in Vietnam, and wanted to buy your cue 6 months ago.... btw this person is Vietnamese, and passed on the cue because of the shaft being peeled...

Hey Dale,

I'm sorry that it happened to you.

I was seeking for a Cognoscenti cue awhile ago, around early this year and found this exact same cue from the same seller (huysmall).

I was in Vietnam at the time and we arranged to meet up at a pool hall to check out this cue. His story of this cue was, a pro player in Vietnam was the previous owner of the cue. He was quite stuck so he asked Huy for some loan, placing the cue in Huy's possession. He then decided not to pay back his debt and Huy ended up with the cue.

I test hit the cue at the time and to be honest, it was more than half a year ago and the condition of one of the shafts was exactly as you showed on your thread. He wanted to get $xxxx for the cue at the time, which I declined.

If you want, this is Huy's number: +84 90 927 7455

Did you misunderstand my question when I asked you where you purchased the cue from?? I made my decision on trading with you because you said the cue was in nearly excellent condition, the shafts were original (I know I know it was a misunderstanding), and you had your friend purchase the cue new from the United States (you were the ORIGINAL owner lol), not a used cue with heavy bluing, that was used as collateral in a loan!! Huy you lied about the origin of the cue, and now all your words have no value..

Now you offer me 50 bucks on a public forum hoping all members will agree with your generosity..What a Joke...Huy a new shaft is 300.00 shipped from Joe Gold...You need to paypal me 200.00 gift method if you want this to go away...

As for trading back..not going to happen....I spent about 60.00 shipping EMS at your request even though you wouldn't ship EMS because it was to expensive in Vietnam..I'm not going pay another 60.00 to ship back..It's a waste of money....I'm not going to waste 60.00 because of your so called misunderstanding..

I never would of traded with you if I would of known ...

1) The cue was not purchased new, but a piece of collateral..

2) The shaft was altered

3) The shaft has heavy bluing..

Huy you should of handled working this out behind closed doors...Bad move on your part..btw if you pass on my terms I understand, but I will have to share my experience with anybody considering doing business with you...I would hate to see another misunderstanding happen..Let me know what you would like to do via pm, or email....

BTW FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT AREN'T IN THE KNOW...I DID A TRADE WITH HUYSMALL ON THIS OFFERING http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=287035&highlight=huysmall

I ASKED HUY SEVERAL QUESTIONS:

Huy,

I have a few questions, and concerns as I didn't know you were overseas...My questions are..

how old is the cue?
Where did you purchase the cue from?
Is the cue straight together, and apart? (very important as the cue is abroad)
what is the weight of the butt, and shafts?
what is the size of the ferrules?
What is the condition...any dings, dents, blemishes, etc.
Has the cue ever been refinished?
Are the shafts original to the cue?

Regards,

Dale

HERES HUY'S REPLY :

Hi Dale,
My friend in USA purchased this brand new cue and brought it to Vietnam for me. The cue is straight together, and apart. I had it nearly one year ago. You know, I have some high-end cue. I played it with just curious about Cognoscenti and put it back to my collection. So it's nearly Excellent condition.

Butt: 29" long, original, straight, 16.10 oz, just a very minor dent on butt sleeve
Shaft: 29" long both, all shafts are original to the cue.
- playing shaft: 13.1 mm tip diameter, 3.69 oz, no ding, dent, straight
- brand new shaft: 13.2 mm tip diameter, 3.74 oz, no ding, no dent, straight

Hope these specs help your questions.

I TOOK THESE PICTURES OF THE SHAFTS AFTER I RECEIVED THE CUE...AS YOU CAN SEE THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MY PICTURES, AND HUYS PICTURES ON HIS THREAD...
