Hi Guys,

Got this on trade, was told it could be a palmer or paradise. Can anyone confirm if it a palmer or paradise.

The best information so far I got:

Looking through my 3rd. Edition Blue Book, this cue appears to be either a Palmer Custom Cue or a Frank Parasise Cue. It is similar to Level 3 Model B (Palmer pg.579 Circa early 1970's) or Level 3 Model "C" House Special (Paradise pg.584 Circa 1965). The only difference I see is the ring setup on the butt of the cue. They range from $400 to $750 for the Palmer and $1,800 to $3,000 for the Paradise.

Thanks,
Duc.

Wow

I can't believe that cue surfaced. WOW.. thats all I can say. Look at the cue, I know where that came from. To bad it's missing the letter... that cue was made for Stan Lee to commemorate the 100th issue of Iron Man.

Let some nit buy and be happy.

No tell me it isn't true. Does this mean my Spiderman cue is a fake? Tell me it isn't so. I was hoping to collect the whole Marvell series.

LOL..ok....man, somehow I thought JV was been serious..man I'm gulible. In all seriousness, the cue does look like an Ironman cue. I don't think it will do any harm on Ebay (Zero watcher on this cue)....I'm don't frequent on AZ as much anymore so didn't catch this until today. Thanks Guys.

Duc.

You mean to tell me that the Limited Edition - Palmer - "Silver Surfer" cue I just bought off eBay is worthless???

Oh well, there goes $10K.....

YOU STILL NEED TO REMOVE THE LISTING WETHER YOU THINK IT WILL DO HARM OR NOT. IF SOMEONE HITS THE BUY IT NOW ON THAT LISTING, YOU WOULD BE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THEM BY HAVING AN INACCURATE LISTING. WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THE STORIES BEHIND THE CUES ARE ACCURATE.

I saw it.

I like the cue. I thought,I wounder if it is a 1st catalog. Then when Chris didn't get it I knew it wasn't a Gus!

The listing is now revised and if someone did buy it thinking it was the "Iron Man" cue, I will advise them of the error and give them a refund. I get your point thought. Thanks.

Oh man, I got a really good laugh out of this thread. Sheesh....

Matt <-- Has his Plastic Man cue tucked away, safe and sound!

Duc it is certainly not a Paradise, whether it's a Palmer I am uncertain.

Looks like a National Tournament cue, circa 1972. Martin

National Tournament cue, is that the brand or name of the cue?

I kinda figure from the blue book that it's not a paradise because of the pin but wasn't sure if it even a palmer, adam, or cheaper asian brand. It's a well built cue and my money on it been a palmer.

Hey Duc, Its an 60-70's American brand that is referred to as "National." An NTC was my 2nd jointed cue and first decent one purchased new in 1970 for $32.50. It had same joint rings and pin as your cue. My cue was a lower end model rosewood merry widow with nylon wrap. My first 2 piece cue was a Sears cue with ramin wood shaft purchased new for about $9 in 1969! Truth to tell, I can't say with any certainty what your cue really is.
