Just picked this up on Friday. Turned out fantastic. I have two matching Edge Hybrids not pictured as I'm having them retapered. Wrap is elephant ear and all the white is ivory except the joint collar (Elforyn).

Definitely one of the nicer Davis blank builds I've seen, and I have several.
Jacoby is doing a fine job.
Congrats

I agree. That is one of the nicest Davis conversions I have personally seen. Nice cue.

Congratulations, that is a beautiful cue!
I have been shooting a Davis conversion for the the past 4 years, and absolutely love it.
I hope you like your conversion as much as I do mine.

Sweet cue....

What a sweet looking Jacoby Jeff. I love the color combination, great inlay work. Just a dam nice looking cue. Congrats:cool:

Chris:wink:

You are gonna love that cue! I've got a Sowder-Davis conversion and an older Jacoby. They both play great. Tough to figure out which one to play with.

Thanks guys. It plays absolutely amazing. It feels best without the bumperless weight bolt in, but most of my play is in areas without carpet, so I try to keep the bumper in mostly.

A few things I would change:

I wish I had ordered a long-splice blank so the points came out taller, or specified that I wanted the maple finger-splice just a little lower.

I wish I had done an ivory joint. If it broke they would install an Elforyn joint for me, but in Wisconsin they felt an ivory joint would eventually crack so I stuck with Elforyn.

30" butt and maybe even 30" shafts.
