Do you know if he built the blank or is it a converted house cue? Are all the points pretty even? Nice looking cue by the way.
 
From the standpoint of furnituremaking, kiln drying the wood heats up the lignun (the stuff that makes wood flexible) and rehardens it. This has the end result of making wood more difficult to rebend. The debate is out whether it makes the wood 'stiffer' or not.
 
Nice cue jazznpool! You're about a week to late for me! Unless you decide to take a trade? Brand new Joss SP (cocobolo 4 points) with a lightly used OB-1 and original shaft. Actually still waiting on cue from Joss...:grin:
 
Points are fairly even. Nice quality Scmellke butt, not a house cue. Good quality matched pair of shafts. Offered with conditional buyer approval.

If I wasn't set on a bumperless style butt, I'd probably pick this up. Free bump for a very nice looking cue.

Nice buy for the money, the rings are a nice intricate touch while keeping to the true essence of a sneaky pete!
 
Man... I'm liking the look of Sneaky Petes and plain janes more and more every day. Very nice cue sir, wish I had 450 to spare.
