Nice old Jensen I think Mike called them a J-1 back in the 90s, I had one that was BEM but it had his rosary stitch bead deco rings at the joint, I sold that cue 3 times in 10 years and boughht it back every time someone went bust, I finaly gave it to my nephew for his birthday in 05 befor I moved to florida, I still have a 4 point Hoppe from Mike made in 01 you can never go wrong buying a Jensen guys.! Bump for a great cuemaker.

been a looong time since i measured a shat. good luck with that pal :grin-square:

The cue is not signed but I am 100% sure its a jensen and with the price being so cheap i am sure if you "know" cues you know its a Jensen.

The shaft and Butt are DEAD STRAIGHT and the cue weighs 19.5 ozs. The shaft is a MONSTER at 13.35. Itf anything it might need a refinish but, Man, it plays good.

Let me know any offers you have as the seller is VERY motivated.
thanks

The cue will go to the first, a decent refinish would make this cue sparkle as brand new!! $350

The seller is motivated so hurry up:grin:

I wonder where the Jensen cue makers are from, Jensen is a Scandinavian name, also my Danish family name but some of the best woodworking in the world comes from that part of the planet.

He makes cues in Baton Rouge LA and has for over 40 years.

The Blue Book says his ancestors were Sweedish imigrants that made furniture and when they arrived in the US their name was changed. He named his cues after the original family name of Jensen.
