Ive frequented the forum for years now but just decided to make an account and start really enjoying it. Just wanted to say hi to everyone here and formally introduce myself.
 
Please proceed with the introduction. It would be nice to have some new blood that actually contributes.
 
Im a 26 year old amatuer player from houston texas. About to start the transition to full time pool. Going to be at dcc if anyone is there and wants to grab a drink or shoot some.
 
If by shoot some, you mean action, if you come through Austin, you've got action (not huge action but action non the less);)

I was in the marine corps for four years. Got out last February and have had a full time job and played on the side. As it turns out I've been making more playing than my job had paid so i am leaving my job on Monday to pursue full time pool.

Well it's about time you were checking in. Glad you're here.
By-the-way, we've got another field trip scheduled for this coming Tuesday. We're all going to go visit the National Museum of Funeral History. Lot's of exciting stuff there, although I've heard Tuesdays were a little dead.
Everyone gets a tee-shirt that says: Today Was The Last Day Of The Rest Of My Life. :smile:

Pays more than your last job? Switch to welfare, that will pay more than pool, plus, when they say the cheque is in the mail.... its actually in the mail
 
Lol....yeah my last job was at a pawn shop (asst mgr). I made roughly $600 a week and could spend a couple nights a week playing and make nearly double that.
