Merry Widow?

Would someone explain what a "merry widow" cue is? Thanks.

I googled it and it seems to be either an old 1917 Brunswick cue or a cue refinished by Zamboti or a cue made in 1985 by Zamboti.

It is just a bit more ornate than a 'plain jane'. A merry widow has a plain forearm and an inlayed butt sleeve.

Here is my cue, heard it called a merry widow style. Just a step up from a plain cue.
