Selling my Ned Morris solid macassar ebony cue. Butt weighs 15.9 and the one 13.2mm shaft at 3.8 ounces for a total weight of 19.7 ounces. Cue is straight. The concept of having a solid piece of wood, esp ebony makes this cue hit (very solid). The taper is Neds normal so it is pretty stiff, not for the feint of heart. The shaft has an olivewood insert which is another of Ned Morris trademarks. The cue sounds great when it hits the ball, no thud which may be in part due to the olivewood insert. Extremely well made cue. This cue has a naturally occurring butterfly point which makes the cue really stand out. It is a gorgeous piece of Macassar ebony. Flatface 3/8x10 steel pin. This cue has very few nics and a few finish bubbles. Very few of them but the rest of the finish is excellent. Fit and finish very good like all Neds cues. Brown phelolic joint and buttcapThis cue would make an awesome player. I was planning to keep it but am collecting a few more Bluegrass cues and cant afford both. That's an amazing cue. I have never seen one that can stand sideways by itself like that :) .

Im measuring about 18 1/2 from the bottom of the buttcap. Very nicely balanced for a solid piece of Macassar.
 
Ned Morris-great cue

I do not know the seller of this cue, but in case anyone is thinking about buying a Ned Morris cue, if it plays anything like the one I own, you won't be disappointed. I pulled out my 6-point Ned Morris cue just to remind myself how great it played. I think I will play with it for a while, the hit is amazing, very smooth, solid hit, and I seem to be able to put the cue ball anywhere I want with it. Here are a few pics, I really like this cue.

Im pulling this off and keeping it. It plays lights out and Ive received so may compliments from other players on the looks and esp the hit of the cue. It is a great second cue for me and the workmanship is great. Little deflection. plays about as good as my Bluegrass cues. Thanks for all the good words and bumps, always appreciated. next up will be an 8pt bluegrass and an ivory jointed, leather wrapped and ivory ring and inlayed skip weston as well as my Piggy banks Darrin Hill cue.
