Case was completed a few weeks ago and the work that Jim Murnak did has exceeded my expectations.
Love the way he included a Kanji symbol from a tatoo I have and design came out great.

Thought it was time to share this case with all.

Determination

Sweet case Alpine! You should talk to Coker Custom Cues. Michi Coker has a cue with a Kanji inlays that matches your case. I love the use of symbols.. I also have a tattoo of my avatar and a cue with matching inlays.

I think this is a picture of the cue. 4th from the right.

You got a nice case.

Nice work done on the case.
Did not expect Mr Murnak to put Chinese characters on the cue case.

Now that is really food for thought for my next cue case. ;)

The work that Jim did with this case is exceptional, the leather is smooth, rich in color and the it caught my eye when I pulled it out of the shipping box.

Creative design to include that in the cue.
Hope to see pictures of the cue with close up shots.
That may be interesting for something in the future.

When I met Jim at VF for the first time in March, we spoke for a few minutes.
Later I showed him the Kanji symbol I had with me, discussed a design and all I did was let the master do his work.
The end result is just breath taking.
Given a chance, I am sure that Jim can include almost anything into a case design...A True Master Craftsman.

myron, i emailed michi coker and asked her to take some close-ups of that cue for you. i'm sure i'll hear from her.
