After using the search button to find out the relative age of the cue, I found a thread from I forget who that has about 25 cues for sale. His cue #21 is almost identical to this one except his has stitch rings. I believe this cue to be an 80's Jackson custom and have had Ron Guyer of the custom cue connection confirm its an older model. Only have the OB-1 Shaft. Cue has cosmetic damage on the butt. Looks like the previous owner attempted to glue a chip of the butt back on, and there is a crack in the other side. This affects the cue in now way. Jackson will replace the butt for $30 and give it the old logo like this one has instead of the new name logo. but I do not have the money to be spending on pool, so I'm selling the cue for college tuition. Comes with joint protectors.
Joint: 5/16x14 flat faced
Weight: Not sure but feels about an 18 oz.
OB shaft has bluing to it. When I took the cue to Ron he reconditioned the shaft and told me it was almost a brand new shaft. So all play on the shaft has been done by me.
Rolls straight together and apart.
I am NOT SEPERATING the cue from the shaft.
Asking $250+shipping. I will use an escrow upon the buyers request. I am also interested in a baitcasting fishing reel + cash. No shimanos or daiwas.
I apologize for having such large pictures but i tried to capture most of the blemishes in the finish on my blackberry.
