I'll be in palm springs from Saturday evening (Jan 24th), through monday evening for a trade show. Would anyone who lives there be up for a game? Tips on where to go to play if not?
Thanks,
Jon

That is really, really weird, I was just logging on to ask the same question! Not because I will be there anytime soon. Just for personal research. I am considering relocating there and wonder if there is any good rooms anywhere near by?

u may send pm to 'Aunty dan' and he wil be able to privide the information.Hw is from Riverside area.

only thing I found is

Sharky's Family Billiards‎
68895 Perez Rd # 1, Cathedral City, CA‎ - (760) 324-7644‎

It's been a long time since I've been out there but I remember a bar at Hwy. 111 and Ramon, that had three tables and was friendly. Those were the days that Jim Hevener ruled the roost. Nowadays, Melissa Morris or her dad, Ned (if he's still playing), are likely the local champs.

just to put an ending to the thread for future searchers - I didn't get any pm responses, so I headed over to Sharky's last night. Equipment is not in the best shape, some barboxes and some 9 footers. This is definitely primarily a hispanic hangout. I had a great time despite feeling pretty out of place. nobody talked to me, but the beer flowed freely, and the tab for a night out was less than the cab ride. fun for a night in a town where I don't know anyone.

Try the Village pub and O'learys. It's bar box but you should have fun.
