Well I am looking for a cue with a Predator Shaft that is 59' or 60' long. Really looking in the 250 to 350 range. Please post pics of what you have.

its going to be hard to find a cue for 350 or less with a 29" predator shaft. your better off just getting a cheap butt and ordering a 29" shaft to make you a 59" cue. the shaft new is 200-225 depending on tip. just make sure its not a 3/8 by 11 joint or youll have to get a cuemaker that does that joint like pete omen or blud.

I have seen a few in the past in that range on here, so I guess taking a shot. I do not expect a "new cue" so I guess just seeing what's available. I appreciate the input though, and ultimately I may go that route. thanks

Well I am debating on selling my Black and going back to basics so to speak. I guess the thought of shooting with a really pricey cue just doesn't appeal any more as the money could be used in other fashions. I am sure we all go through this debate from time to time. Anyway looking for a cue with a Predator Shaft that is 59' or 60' long. Really looking in the 250 to 350 range. Please post pics of what you have.

I haven't seen any of Paul's stuff recently, as I haven't been able to get to his shop or to the local shoot he frequents...but these are nice. Paul seems to always get some really nice pieces of coco.

Kinda surprised you would sell it before even trying it...you might just like how it plays; they are wildly popular here. I believe there are a few players now who have ditched their Pred shafts for Paul's laminated ones...I hear they play pretty sporty.

I should add, Paul only makes 60" cues, and he has them dialed. They are pretty good and solid players...I had one; a lot of cue for the money, IMHO.

I picked up a 60" Varney with a Pred shaft for $300 shipped. They are out there, just keep our eyes open.

The Varney hits fantastic btw!

Can I get some more info, and a pic. Weight, shaft thickness etc...Certainly am interested

I suggest you do this: find a nice used Predator shaft on eBay--you should be able to pick one up for 150-175. Then, find a cue builder who will do a Dufferin, Valley, or house cue conversion butt for you at 30-31 inches. That would probably only cost 175-200 depending on what's being converted. You should be able to hit your price point and have some say in what type of wood you have for your butt. A little more trouble, but maybe more control over the outcome.
