Hi all
I have a Custom Jim Pierce cue that I just took in on trade from a fellow AZ'er. Cue is in mint condition, and here is the description from the original owner of the cue:
Jim did this cue with a SouthWest cues flair, in that the ringwork and split butt sleeve are reminiscent of SW cues. The color combination in this cue really pops. It is some beautiful Maccassar Ebony with 4 hi/low tulipwood points, and 2 veneers...green/natural. The ringwork at the joint and butt cap have the SW look, also. The veneer rings of natural/green/black also make the cue really pop. The shaft is one of Jim's "bowling alley" shafts...a real nice piece of wood.
Specifications:
-Butt: 15.8oz (natural weight)
-Shaft: 3.8oz, 12.9mm, Juma ferrule, Emerald tip
-3/8x10 wood to wood joint
-Black phenolic joint collars with SW style dash ringwork of natural/green/black
-Real nice Maccassar Ebony forearm
-Four Tulipwood points (2hi/2lo) with 2 veneers, natural/green...points and veneers are razor sharp...the Tulip has some nice figure, too.
-Pressed black irish linen wrap
-Maccassar Ebony/Tulipwood split butt sleeve in SW style, separated by triple veneer rings of natural/green/black.
-Fancy SW style ringwork above the butt cap
-Black phenolic butt cap
-Signed "JPierce '12" in one of the Tulipwood points
I was told this cue is worth around $1K from the previous owner. I am selling it for the best offer that I receive before Monday afternoon that is over over $650.00, which includes insured shipping (signature required also). If you would like to "buy it now", :thumbup:the price is $875.00.
I do not have any sales from this site as of yet, but have ebay feedback under "loungebilliards1", and hope to soon have a good word mentioned from the person I traded a Jacoby for this Pierce cue.. Thank you for looking, and I will try to answer any questions you may have as soon as possible..
Thanks,
Ray
