Hi all,

I got a new Jump-Break cue, it's a Player's sneaky pete Jump-Break.

So what's so special about an $80 cue you ask.... well I had the good folks at Seybert's do some custom modification to the shaft.

Instead of the cheap plastic ferrule KJ put a nice brown phenolic ferrule that is not only more durable but also looks nice with the deep brown color of the rosewood butt. Seybert's also replaced the Le-Pro tip with a White Diamond tip that am dying to try...
(who puts a Le-Pro on a JB cue  )

Great service and a well done job!!! to the Seybert's crew and to KJ (as usual).

Some specs:
Cue came with a weight of 18.75oz and a balance point of 19.3 inches from butt end.

After removing the weight bolt:
Total weight - 17.6oz (oooo I like this weight for a break cue  )
Balance point - 20 inches from butt end.
Butt - 13.3oz
Shaft - 4.3oz
Jump handle - 4.4oz (total jump cue is 8.7oz)

Can't wait to get to the pool hall to try it out....
I'll write a review about it after Friday...

Hey no matter what kind of cue ,if the owner of a cue is happy and it play's well then the rest is gravy
