Several people have asked about a router mount for a Ridgid laminate trimmer. This is an adapter of my PC router mount. available as a complete unit or as just an add on if you already have one of my mounts. The original mount sells for $34.00 and the adapter is $30.00. The first photo shows it mounted on a compound top slide, the other photos show the mount on a standard cross slide.

A suggestion....

Swap out the vertical piece of you standard router mount with the new router mount so the router can be mounted horizontally. Size the mount so the cutter is on center with the HT lathe.

Make the bolt holes the same so you can inter change it when needed. That would also allow you to also use both the PC and Ridgid routers.

It would also cut rings in the horizontal position.

Mounting it perpendicular to the bed-way on center with the headstock is no problem with my current mount. (See Photo). However if you want to mount it parallel to the bed and still keep it on center with the headstock, that's a different can of worms... As far as using either PC, DeWalt or Ridgid you can!
