porter cable router mount for rings

This is a very nice mount for cutting rings.
I bought this mount a few years back when there was a CNC Company that use to make them but they stopped making them over a year ago.

Anyone that gets this mount will not be disappointed.

Do you know if it will fit the Dewalt D26670?
It looks to be the same, do you have a time frame?
Steve

This one is to high for my set up, Im out

The time frame would be a good question....I would have to talk to my friend and see when he could do them, but again everything hinges on getting 10 people interested. The only thing I could say about time frame right now, would be somewhere between 2 to 4 weeks.

I bought one of these a few years ago. They are absolutely the nuts..... they work great.

Be advised that you need to buy another top slide and screw assembly so you can just slide off your entire assembly and leave the basic carriage. Then slide on the entire router and top slide and cut rings .... it takes me about 60 seconds to set up to cut rings. I leave this all set up and devote a router to it permanently.

Ok so far 5 people want to order .....He will only make 10 ata time need 5 more interested people.

Thanks

You all may want to take note that this was specifically designed to be used on Chris’s Deluxe model lathe but with a catch. You have to purchase a new carriage that does not have the spring loaded cross slide. The standard spring loaded slide that Chris supplies is too high for this design.

Honestly you don’t want to have to constantly align your router every time you need a few rings. It is worth the investment.

Here's my original.

Guys.....Sorry to say that my friend with the cnc machines just got a job that will tie them up for a few months..he wont be able to make them and he doesn't want to make them by hand. So I will have to put these on the shelf for awhile, again sorry. If you check out Dan-O post he has the specs on there that you can use to make your own if you want. Have a Good Thanksgiving everyone.

Since this pot has been stirred and I deal with machining houses on a daily basis, I am willing to jump back into the fire and get a batch of these made. Same price as offered. $80 and $10 shipping conus. Not sure on Canada or elsewhere but if you are willing to pay the difference I will consider it.

Please be perfectly clear the centerline height is 2.25” from the bottom of the mount. If something else is needed I may be able to accommodate. I will need to know ASAP since I just ordered 10 of these at the 2.25 height.

I don’t build a lot of cues. With the second carriage already set up it is nice to be able to pop it on, cut a few rings, and take it off.
