Thanks for pointing out the error of my thinking. I guess I was wrong to think that eBay has an extremely larger online audience of potential buyers than AZ. I cannot discuss the subsequent gains I have made with eBay by buying a cue that was poorly marketed there and went for cheap, keeping it for 6 months or so, and remarketing it back on eBay. I know the market is soft... but specific collector cues are a different breed and I think Runde is in that breed. Sorry guys... I just have different experience with buying and selling on eBay. By the way, if your Jensen is a 4 point veneered bushka jointed older Jensen weighing close to 19.0 keep me in mind. been on my shopping list for a long time. You can keep the newer 3/8-10 pins.Danktrees said:ebay's kinda hurting for cue sales right now...i just bought a jensen hoppe with 4 shafts for 600 dollars yesterday. i think he would lose a lot of moeny to ebay as well, listing fees, final fees and then paypal fees.
I do respect your take on eBay and AZ. I like AZers tremedously and would like to never offend anyone with my viewpoints. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP HIM OUT AND BUY THIS MAN"S RUNDE!!! The Karma points will be positive.Birk1 said:thanks...I do have an account, but ebay is full of people who bid / win and dont pay (happened to me twice) and you have to pay a listing fee w/ BIN plus final valuation fees and paypal fees.
I like this forum...people are honest, friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I would rather sell to a forum member and give them a good deal than sell to the ebay world.
Thanks AZ members for making this place awesome...its the people here that make this place great
