First I would like to thank Tim Scruggs, Jeff Wolfe and by proxy Cory Barnhart for taking the time and effort to authenticate this cue for me.
This cue is rather fancy for a Scruggs Sneaky Pete.
The cue measures as from the butt cap to face of ferrule as follows. 57 7/8" with the first shaft and 56 3/8" with the second shaft.
Its weight is 18oz and 18.2oz respectively.
The joint is piloted.
The pin is 5/16x14
The joint, butt cap, collars, black & white rings are phenolic.
The center of the ring series is Tulip wood. Capped by black phenolic, nickel and white phenolic.
The cue rolls straight.
There are 3 minor blemishes on the cue which I will point out in the pictures.
Sold for cash and trade.
Blemish 1 is on the butt cap.
Blemish 2 is a very fine chatter mark on the the collar face edge of one of the longer of the shafts.
Blemish 3 is a crack in the finish of the shorter of the 2 shafts.
