Best bank players in the world

John Brumback would be number one, and in no certain order Scott Frost, Shannon Dalton, Brian Gregg, Jason Miller, Justin hall, Cris Gentile, SVB. Someone else can pick the order out of these.

IDK, I think I'd take Jeremy Jones against every single one of those guys, except Brumback.. And if they're playing big racks, I might take him against the field..

Who is the top 5 bank players in the world??

It would have to be, Truman Hogue. He is in the bank pool hall of fame.

On March 11, 2009 Truman Hogue visited my home teaching facility in ... Truman has retired more bank pool players than any other player in history! The sound ... He was in Buffalo Billiards a couple of months ago. Very nice guy too.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

The Best!!!

Brumbeck, Glen "Peggy Banks" Rogers, Truman, Buckey Bell, Dalton..., nobody beats these guys in banks, I've watched them all for years.

Honorable Mention: Cliff Joyner, Mark Jarvis, Ike Runnels, Chri McDoland.

Only one tops most everyone's list & that's John Brumback..

After that, there are a few that stand out to me but I'm sure I'm missing a lot..

Fargo
Shannon Daulton
Efren plays everything well
Piggy
Gentile
Gregg

I'm sure there are a bunch more but I believe Brumback is consistently the best at the game right now!

Banks is an interesting game. Whether you prefer short-rack banks or long-rack banks, I guess it doesn't really matter.

For an offensive player, one who seems to go for it, as opposed to playing safe, banks can be quite a fun game to watch.

I saw Keith McCready spot the Russian in banks years ago, and it was incredible. Both players were giving it their all, and Keith came out on top this time to the tune of five figures. Ka-ching!.

When we went to the DCC in Louisville, I was always amazed at how many players from Kentucky seemed to be good bank shot mechanics. There's a lot of experienced bank shot players seem to hail from gold ol' Kentucy.

Oh, that reminds me of this, especially Counter 00:43 ---> HERE!

I think Keith McCready is an excellent bank player, but then again, I guess I'm a little biased. :smiling-heart:

He seems to excel at that game, though, whenever asked to play for money.

Thats a strong list ill play anyone thoses lists even full rack but brumback ill take 8-7

How strong is that!!! Love it! Let's get some action going. One bank champion has already ducked this game (Hall), lets see how many more will!

I was wondering if you were going to surface in this thread. And sorry my cue let you down at the Derby last year - :sorry: Be sure to tell Danny that Neil says howdy. Best of luck...

Who is the top 5 bank players in the world??

I think this list should specify 'full rack' or 'short rack'....

At short rack banks I feel there are many contenders...the records at
DCC show this...short rack banks favor offensive players and there are
lots of top players that can bank.

Full rack banks may require more knowledge than 1-pocket....
...the 'moves' are crucial...

I'll take John Brumback for the full rack category at this time in history.

Im sorry i meant full rack banks and im not sure who murph is but your making a big statement there

his name is shannon murphy.....he plays pretty sporty...check out some of the youtube video of him shooting.... there are a lot of great players listed already....and the top 5 i think have all been listed....but i would like to throw chip compton in the ring.....he is a MONSTER....i watched him at work a couple of months ago playing a bank ring game and DAMN....he can swing it...

If im allowed to travel back in time and bring forward a bank player it would be Tony Fargo of years past at the rack in memphis tn on the front table and open the door for the world to come give it a try.

Cheyenne Pete Trujillo. More than one old time hustler including Danny Medina and Surfer Rod have told me that back in his day he was top 5 in banks, one pocket and Golf. Surfer Rod said Pete took thousands off him playing banks and made it look easy.
