I wrote an application, Pool Shot Analyzer, I want to share with the forum.

It can be downloaded from here....

It should run on any computer with java installed.

It shows just about everything you ever wondered (and probably more) about the quantitative parts of a pool shot (How big is the 'contact point'? Which shot is harder?, etc.).

Hope you find it interesting. Appreciate any comments/questions.

Can the pocket size be adjusted?
 
Cool app.

Can I change the target pocket? Mine seems stuck on the upper right corner pocket regardless of where I place the cue ball or object ball.

Yes. Click the pocket you want to shoot at, drag the balls to where you want them.

It would be very interesting to have a selection of pocket sizes available to see the difference in accuracy required but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.

Do we get free bottled water when we download the app?
