Right,
Now.................. PUT DOWN that illegal substance you're obviously using............. and come back down to "REALITY"........
If what I said................. chaps your A$$.................... so be it......
IT IS............... accurate................. truthful................
Because there are many "FOOLS" out there who will enrich you with their stupidity................ Don't fool yourself............... There aint a Stick Out there worth MORE than some poor smuck is willing to pay for it..... if that's $37.50...................... you'd be way overy priced on this one, eh?????
The cue is Nice Looking, will give you that..... worth $3XXX.XX knowing it probably sold for less than 1/4 of that.................. absurd!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never thought I'd get involved in a flame war on AZ, but OMG...
Here's the deal...
Once upon a time, MAYBE, you could have acquired such a cue for 550.00...25 years ago.
Hell, I bought a few SW cues in the early 90s...both Kersch, in fact, for 400.00 and 600.00...that was then...I also used to pay .85 for a pack of smokes. Those days are over.
I ordered an ebony/tulipwood SW in 95 and it was exactly 1085.00...15 years ago. I got it in 02 and I wouldn't part with it for less that 3k. In fact, I'll never part with it.
The waiting list on SW cues is 11 years now, I believe, and they no longer honor the price you're quoted originally, which they shouldn't, due to the incredible demand and inflation of the cues.
This Franklin Era cue is worth every bit of 3k+ to someone that values the hit and quality of a SW.
Making such silly statements about one of the elite custom cue names in the pool world is just plain ignorant.
Would you expect someone to sell you a 66 GTO in mint condition for the sticker price of 4500.00? Ain't gonna happen.
Good luck OP with the sale of the cue, it's worth every penny.
