Hey everyone I am sad to say that this evening Stevekur1 aka Steve's father lost his long fought battle with cancer. I have the great pleasure and honor of being one of Steve's best friends and I truly hope that you can all say a little prayer or send a kind word.

Mods please do not remove this at least for a day or two. This is Steve's favorite forum and we literally spend hours on here each day or talking about it.

Steve truly is a great Son, Husband, Friend and Brother, He took it upon himself to stay home with his family to take care of them and for that I respect him even more.

So again guys if you can just send a kind word or prayer I know it would be greatly appreciated.

I want to say thank you in advance I know you guys will step up for Steve.

Thanks

Charlie

Charlie, my thoughts and prayers are with your friend during these troubled times. I personally think this is a great thing you are doing for your friend, and I think more people need friends like you.

Steve

R.I.P. Dad, you will always have a place in my heart

Steve:

Sorry to hear about your loss. I cannot imagine what you are going through.

Both my parents are still with us although they have both had strokes.

Stay strong. They are alive in your memories and the memories of everyone who has ever met them.

Steve

You have had a very, very, tough year. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers - if you need anything, just call.

Just endored the second longest day in my life!

Well like the the title says, today was a true honor to be a part of.

MY Father who was very active in the Knight Of Columbus got a huge send off, a true message of honor for all of the 53 years of service with them. Holding every rank there was to hold in the orginization.

And then to top things off the military was there since dad was a Korean War vet , and they gave him a send off as well. And i was truely touched by the flag ceremony, especially when they had passed the flag off to me.

I will truely treasure it for the rest of my life!

As i will truelly treasure my father for as long as i live, he will always have a place in my heart.

He is now upstairs, hanging out with Willie. Sharing stories of me and how he loved to watch me play, calling out all my end patterns like he never stopped playing. I Was always touched that we had that in common.

R.I.P Dad

Thank You all again for your kind words and prayers !
