NOTE: This cue is not for sale!!!

I thought I will show the Eric Crisp's latest conversion work.

This is first wrapless Ebony Titlist conversion I've seen. Look at the interesting butterfly work on the butt sleeve. He's making matching JPs for the cue. The shafts have 35-40 growth ring. Mammoth ivory .. one shaft will have ivory ferrule and the other one with glass melamine.

Mightly fine work, I'd say.

Maybe not. We will be getting a few more of his cues in a couple weeks. Email me if you are interested.

Ya .. I believe he's quoting close to 3 years now.

Sore, this cue is owned by the cuemaker currently but I've heard he's got few buyers lined up for this cue already.

I think I will be posting my Sugartree cues.

Hey at least this one is a real ebony titlist...

JV (--been hearing there are a few "homemade" purpleheart and ebony titlists from someone up north....

Jazz - is the ebony Sugartree conversion made from a Titlist, a Hoppe Pro or a Model 26 1/2? Also, can you post close-ups of the points so we can get a good look at the veneers?

I don't have the cue

Oh. I saw your post where you said the cue had changed hands, and I assumed it had moved into yours. Bummer - that is an awesome cue.

Thanks for the pics. This is probably the nices wrapless Titlist conversion I have ever seen. It is weird how different colors in the cue itself make the difference in overall appeal. Someone else recently posted a Titlist conversion with an added maple butt sleeve that I really didn't care for.
I love the simple but elegant splice in the butt sleeve. However, for this cue, I think there may be some loss if the maple in the butt sleeve does not match the patina of the forearm.
