Hello,

just got in the mail today my Sugartree from the hands of Eric Crisp. These cues are built to play!! Hands down an awesome hitting cue.

The specs for those that care are:

WILD Cocobolo forearm and buttsleeve
Curly Koa Handle
Fossil Mammoth Ivory Joint and Buttcap
ivory and cocobolo rings at A,B,C,D,E
2 shafts (really high growth rings- 40+) 1 ivory ferrule/1 melamine
matching JP's
the cue was just completed, but I had the cue signed for 9-03-06 (my son's birthdate)

19oz / 13mm

This cue is the nutz!

I put my order in on November 1st of 2005...before the rush

enjoy and God Bless

Ryan

Oh wow congrats on the pickup. Just beautiful, especially love the koa. Makes me want a better one.

That's a nice cue fella! Now I know what all the Sugartree hype is all about! That wood is fantastic!

nice cue

nice piece of wood you have there. hope you enjoy it.
how long is the waiting time for one?

That mamoth ivory is beautiful! How do you like the way the shaft with the ivory ferrule hits? How does it compare to the melamine?

I love ivory ferrules...but to be honest I think the melamine ferrule plays better- has crisper, sharper hit to it. maybe its just me- who knows

I agree 100%

The best hit I have had was on a southwest satin with their standard melamine...much better feel and ping than Ivory
(though the sound of Ivory is better) that cue had the best playability.
Tip makes a huge difference too.
