Pool photography

Who has experience with taking pool pictures.

I'm a novice to photography, but I love to take pool pictures. (I'll post some pictures later tonight - @ work now).

My biggest obstacle is finding the perfect moment with the right amount of light so that I can take a picture without flash, and a reasonable noiseless ISO (uhum nikon digicam user) level.

I think even experienced professional photographers will have difficulty in taking pictures under the lighting that we're subjected to.

What are yer thoughts? And who is Diane Hoppe?

Here is a link to two pictures I like. Both have been taken without a flash without a nikon coolpix 4500. Under each picture you can read the settings I've used.
