Cue identification

Hello,

hopefully I post this in the correct category.

A few years ago I got a cue stick and now I want to know who created it and how old it is. And perhaps how much it is worth even if I will never sell it.

First of all a few pictures... but I am not allowed to post links at the moment, so you have to take a look at
Code:
thehappy. de/~lookshe/gallery/queue/
(remove the blank before the .de)

From a german board I know, that it looks like a titlist conversion and as I unterstood this meens, that it was custom made from an older cue (am I right?)

All I know about this cue is, that it should be over 25 years old and the previous owner played with it in East Germany. I don't know where he get it from or anything else and unfortunately it's not possible to ask him anymore...

So perhaps someone can give me some more information about this cue stick.

Regards

/Edit: As I see right now, one of the pictures was attached although it was to big :)

You really want that cue at the top of the forum?

I dunno, wouldn't that be better than answering this same question
every week.

Perhaps what we need is a FAQ.
Frequently Ask Question number one could be:

Is my $12 import cue worth a small fortune?

Unless the picture matches theirs exactly....and the Taiwan sticker is still on their cue...they will still ask.

Believe me...it's worth it too. Remember, we saw a Doc Fry pool cue sell on Ebay for $39.00. I only missed the auction because I was called to a meeting with my boss. But I would bet there were numerous AZBers that saw it, saw the sparkly butt sleeve....and walked thinking it was a Taiwan cue.

It never hurts to ask...

Up in the main forum there is a cue that a poster was being told was a $5 import...it's not...it's an Adam, an early one, fancy, and certainly not cheap.

It never hurts to ask....
