This cue was recently converted by a local cuemaker (Kelly Cues) named Mike Derouen. He has been making cues since 1984. He ordered Titlist veners for the ringwork. 3/8X10 flat faced linen phenolic joint and butt cap. The points are all within about 1/8 inch in height. I had a nice blank which had one point that was starting to delaminate, but after turning it down to the required diameter, it was not a problem. It had to be cut and is not a short spliced cue, but he used the cut out portion to fashion the butt sleeve, and also used the wood to make the points in the JP. It plays great! He does some the nicest work that I know for the money. I gave him the blank +$450. Came with 2 shafts with ivory ferrules and matching JP's for shafts as well (shaft JPs don't have points, but do have matching ringwork).
