For those of you having personal issues with Varney right now, I would greatly appreciate it if you would please keep your comments to the other Varney threads.
This is a real nice, older Varney sneaky. The cue is extremely solid and plays great. The finish is in excellent condition, no dents or dings. The shaft has some bluing from play.
The cue is a goncola alves body with a 5" birdseye addition at the bottom. It also has nice rings in the butt.
Specifications:
- Weight: 19.0 ounces
- Joint: 3/8x10, wood to wood
- Shaft: 12.75mm, LBM, Triangle tip
- Black phenolic joint collars
- Straight grain maple forearm
- Goncola alves body and points...points are almost dead on...maybe 1/8" variation
- Five inch piece of nice birdseye/curly for the butt sleeve
- Black phenolic butt cap with fancy white index ringwork
- Cue is signed "Varney 2000"
