Nice cue, the best looking Viking I've seen in years

Very nice! I hope you don't mind my asking, what's the difference in playability of your short threaded shaft and the other two? Taking another look at the picture, I think I see one of them has a phenolic tip?

The short threaded shaft is a brand new shaft that i had made because they didn't want to turn the two original shafts down too far. Truthfully they all play similar except the shaft on the bottom which is 14+mm and it has an extremely solid type hit, but the other two have more finesse. I actually was surprised they still had joints like this around. I wish more cues had the double threaded joints because they definitely provide a much more solid hit. Just my opinion. The only thing they couldn't do was change the name in the window. They don't have the letters anymore. It has the original owner's name: Randy "Rhino" Jenkins, and I wanted to change it to Minnesota Mike. But rather than mess it up I left his name alone. If he was famous, I can't find anything on him.

This is what the cue looked like before the refinish. It wasn't bad, but the wrap was filthy and the wood needed to be cleaned up.
