Varney j/b for Vinniebabarooch

Handcrafted quality!

Here are a few quick pics of Vinniebabarooch's new 2008 Varney j/b. His only request was to make the cue's color dark. The wood is Wenge and the monster shaft is very, very dense piece of submerged lakewood that is several hundred years old. This is THE heaviest & most dense shaft wood that I've ever had...really something special. Once again...I apologize for the delay & I'll pm you tracking info shortly.:)

Very nice! I want some of that shaftwood. What's the weight of the shaft? Looks like a 3/8-10 pin.
Does it have an insert? A 4 ounce shaft with an insert is really a 3.6 ounce shaft. Average weight of an insert is .45 ounce.

The submerged stuff is REALLY heavy. It weighed 5.6oz as a finished tapered blank....before adding ferrule, joint collars, & boring/tapping hole. Yes, 3/8-10....but no insert. I really don't know any cuemaker that uses a brass insert with a 3/8-10 pin.

Hey Vinnie, what month did you order yours?

He waited longer than the 7 months you've been waiting I assure you. Trying to turn this thread into a "who got theirs first" doesn't get your cue any faster. Like I have stated numerous times...everyone's cue is coming & I'm trying to keep them in order as best as possible. I know you are upset that Cajun got his cue before you....but his cue took only about 20% of the work that yours requires. Please bear with me & you'll have a wonderful cue shortly. Again....as I've stated previously...past due orders are all I'm working on 100% of the time. And if you feel the need to know the truth....he ordered his slightly more than 3 months before you.

Just a thought.

I'm glad Troy is getting his cue.

He was the one person who remained a Gentleman in a previous thread that was bashing you Kevin.

Troy's got Class ;)

That is really subtle beauty! I would hate to have to pick one if they were all available at once!!
