When I attempt to go to Grady Mathews website my browser warns be that "This site may harm your computer".

Anybody go there and have any issues with the site?

The warning I get takes up a whole page it looks pretty severe.

Not sure what's wrong. I was just there the other day.

This is what the warning says...

When looking at the diagnostics shown by google, it looks like they are referring to 61.155.8.0.

For some reason, google is linking gradymatthews.com (which is hosted by hostica.com with 208.87.33.150) to 61.155.8.0 (which is registered to a host, CHINANET JIANGSU based in Nanjing).

As to why google linked the two, it's hard to say. my guess would be there is some content on his site that can be user entered by malbots (i.e. forums, guestbook, ect).

All he or his webmaster has to do is contact google to get the warning removed. http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=45432

Anybody who clicks on any warning like this on a web page is ASKING for trouble.

The Google TM could be faked. If you decide to get out and then go to the website mentioned, it could also be compromised.

website problems

My webmaster has been notified and hopefully the problem will be taken care of shortly.

I got hit with the trojan a month ago when I went there, think it was from the blog when I clicked to go to the blog. Took me a day to get rid of it.

yup, that would be the reason for the blacklisting by google then. The virus isn't actually hosted on grady's site, but on a chinese site, that is linked from the blog (that probably has a comments section).

Grady, your webmaster or who ever monitors the blog should be able to remove the virus post.

google is everything nowadays it seems eh?

Basically, if you have certain toolbars installed, or you visit the page from a google search, this warning will be displayed.

If not taken care of it, it can really wreck havoc with your organic search engine ratings.
