I Love my BHQ!!!!!!

About 2 months ago I bought a BHQ (for almost nothing) from Brent, when it arrived I posted here that it was a great looking stick and that Brent was easy to deal with, blah, blah, blah, promptly put it in the closet and left it there until yesterday. Yesterday I decided to take it to the pool room and play with it. I would have loved to have had a video of my face when I started hitting with this cue! I must have looked like one of those comic strip guys with exaggerated expressions of first surprise and then joy as I began to play with what has to be the best feeling cue I have ever hit with!!!

I don't trust my judgment so I gave it to one the of the best players in the house and he said it hit better than what he was playing with (a cue an expert has used for 8 years), he handed it to another player that said the exact same thing!

Anyone thinking of speaking with Brent about ordering a cue, stop thinking and order, there's about to be a wave or orders to BHQ coming from CA!~!!!!

Chris

I remember your post about my dumping all my one-off Gus cues in order to buy-up BHQs. I can't wait to see what you say when you hit this one! I'm on the phone w/ Brent now about getting special treatment regarding wait time on one of those butterflys he was fooling with at Diekman's. By "adjust" I trust you are referring to expectations of wait time for BHQs and not an adjustment of the heavy weight I need to semi-compete, as that part is not changed!

Kevin

I'm trying to clear that up myself!!!

not quite sure what that means

Hope he's not trying to give me less weight in our epic battles just because I make everything with your cue!

love it

Seriously, I'm glad to see you went with a 19 ounce cue. I can't wait to try it out.

Give a link to his website. How long has BH been making cues?
i dont have a website dawgie, dont want one
if you do a search on az on my name, click on the BHQ, then find posts started by BHQ, you can pretty much see my history
AZ is my website!! lol ;) :D
i've only been making cues seriously for three years now
started out mostly with conversions, still do a lot of them, got pictures of one in the works now in the test section
there is a link to my photobucket also in my profile , but, it's terribly in need of updating

Brent is a good friend... i have a conversion made by Brent and by Eric Crisp (Sugartree) ... it was a collaboration between the two when Brent was just starting out and learning the ropes.

Honestly, it probably is one of my best playing cues among my collection. Most everyone who tries it wants to buy it from me.

I have another one in the mail... this other cue is a beautiful combination of Tulipwood and Purpleheart that will most likely, be quite a good hitter. Cant wait to try it out.

Maybe I should get one of Brent's butterflies too... but, this time, Brent, your patience wont be tested. You know what i mean... ;) hehehe.

i hope kevin likes this cue just as much
this is the cue that the colorblind bandit struck me on
i explained to kevin that i have the wrong color veneer on the buttsleeve
it was supposed to be purple, NOT blue
at least 8 people had this cue in thier hands and didnt notice it
then one of my buddies says to me, let me ask ya something
he says, why is this butterfly blue and this one purple???
well, i about fell over!!!
crap, i cannot see the difference in the color!!!!! even after it was pointed out to me
maybe the other 8 people were colorblind too
so, anywyas, kevin thought it made it unique and gives the cue a story to tell about the colorblind ding aling that built it
