Greetings,
New cue from Scott. This started life as a 50's era Titlist. It's going to be my brother's birthday present when he arrives later this week from Alaska.
Now it has two shafts with ivory ferrules, mother of pearl inlays, silver rings, an ivory Hoppe ring, and a black phenolic buttcap (attn. Hoppe purists - don't scold me for these proportions :embarrassed2
We minimized the bumper to keep the look a little more classic (no bumper would've been better, but just not conducive to butt cap health :wink
Also we kept the butt larger than what's currently in vogue (think Hercek-sized) because my brother likes big butts
cool
(wow! three emoticons in two paragraphs :grin-square: now four! Whoo hoo!)
stainless steel joint w/ a 3/8" radial pin, black phenolic joint collars
And, oh yeah, that's a Cortland wrap (thank you Mr. Pechauer.)
Also, I got lucky and found a sweet, vintage, It's George case on e-bay to complement this old school beauty.
Thank you Scott!
