An interesting proposition on a cue...

I recently posted a Joe Young cue up for sale...

I'm proposing this...

I will ship the cue for free without taking any payment on the cue, this will be on two conditions...

Condition number one, you need to be an AZ'er with incredible rep, (for example, denoc, rigmaster, kvinbrwr, bamacues, jimbaxter, swisschris, etc.) or I know you personally through the forum.

Condition number two, if you like the cue buy it for whatever price you think it's worth.

I honestly don't care what I get for this cue. Joe makes a great cue and hasn't really sold any of his cues to my knowledge on AZ. I'm just trying to get a cuemakers work into the right hands. So I guess if anyone wants to take a shot on one of Joe's cue shoot me a PM.

I know it's over bumping, but this is a really nice gesture. It shows a lot of good intention and I think it it will be of great value to the maker. I would like to see a review of whoever buys this!

Why don't we have the cue going around to reputable guys here on AZ and write what you think of the cue.....but if it comes to me and iI love it it will stay here LOL

So the cue is going off to KCRackem. First in first served I guess...

Hopefully soon Karl will post up a review on the Joe Young cue so everyone can hear how it hits etc...

I'd just like to say thanks to all for the kind words. I figured that when/if I get anything for the cue I'll just donate it to the forum to keep this thing going. I've met too many good guys on this forum and it is the least that I can do.

If SwissChris wants to try this cue next, I think that would be a great way to share my good fortune. PM me and we can discuss details. However, there is a possibility that I fall in love with the cue. That would complicate things!
 
Wow Will! I know I'm late in responding and had it not been for another friend who told me about your thread and proposition, I would probably not have found it.

What did I do [to you] to deserve such an opportunity? All the members you mentioned are such great contributors to the AZ community and I fear, and a little intimidated, by the level of their quality evaluation. That being said, I do look forward to the cue going around to again, such a quality group of gentlemen, that will only give me the opportunity to build finer cues.

I thank you all and look forward to your feedback. Thanks again Will for the gesture and opportunity.
