Who Won the GSBT?

Shane has been asked about playing Larry a few times in the past and said no. I would love to see the match happen, but I don't think it's going to anytime soon.
It sounds like you are saying that SVB does not want to play. With the action Shane has been in the past few weeks, it's funny that he would refuse to play Larry. How were they going to play when the offers were made to Shane?

Alot of people don't want to play Larry. Not because of his skill, but because of his attitude. That's what I hear anyway

Mike, where were you buddy. I went down Saturday and I figured I would see you there. You missed out on a good one.

You may be right, although I have never gambled with him. I can tell you that he is a nice guy away from the table though.

Larry asked Shane to play in Vegas back in May and Shane just said no thanks. I know it's been brought up to him at least two other times and he's said the same thing both times.

It's possible that's why Shane doesn't want to play Larry. I know there have been a few other people that said the same thing.

Honestly, and this isn't just because I'm friends with Larry, but I think it would be a damn close game if it did happen. No favorite could be picked, in my opinion. I'm sure I'm the minority though. Lol.

I haven't played him either, just keep hearing it from other players. Some have even mentioned it on AZB.

I don't know Larry, just seems that if several players who are looking for action avoid him because they say his attitude is bad, maybe it means something

I caught a relapse of the bug I had mid-week, and didn't make it down until yesterday afternoon. I wanted to watch some of SVB & Alex, but I just stayed through the finals and then went back home. Did you see Russ?

bumpity bump bump...figure some want to see the results from Alex/Shane V8.0...

Guess Shane is just interesting to write and read about when he wins :o

If the result was the other way around there would probably have been like 25 different Shane-threads now, wondering how he chalks etc...

Yeah, that's the way it seems. Speaking of how he chalks...it's either a light brushing motion, or a constant pressure rotation, mainly using the wrist while he stares at the table not even checking the tip for chalk coverage...
