Eric A and Shawn (both from Odessa) are playing for the hotseat at 11pm tonight. Ricki Lee Casper is in the hotseat waiting for Cristina Dela Garza and Stacie Linerode's match. Kim Pierce got 4th.Spetty got 5-6th (my teammate). Congrat's!

The place is packed with lots of players that have come in for the teams event that starts tomorrow. 104 open teams and 24 women teams.

Lots of mini tournaments going on and action matches, too.

Well, it was OUR worst nightmare! We went hill hill with the River Shooters. The final game turned into a safety battle with us on the short end!

We all had a great time! Lots of action non-stop! I'm going back down today to play some more.

I had a decent run in the singles event even if I did play really bad the whole time. I did manage to somehow get in the money though!! :D And my team played really well all weekend and we managed to place 13-16. Not too shabby for a last minute team.

Congrats to Eric A and Sean B for placing 1st and 2nd. And it was also great to see all the other AZ'ers there too. Good times!!

Who won??

It WAS fun - glad your team did well, Juan! And that you had a good run in the singles!

I think BigTruck had too much fun. lol! Even if their team went two and out. ;)

I'll work on getting up all the photos from the singles... and post online soon.

Well, that was depressing...

We didn't go 2 and out, but we did go 3 and out...

In a battle royale of "Teams That Played Well Below Expectation" we beat a team from Port Lavaca in the loser's bracket that was in the Top 10 last year...

Of course we were 3rd last year and that didn't seem to scare anyone off us... LOL

Melinda: If you happen to have a photo of me slumped in a chair in abject defeat I'd love to see it... Of course all you would have to have done to get that image would be to point a camera in my general direction anytime, day or night, during the weekend...

Oh so disappointing...

The little kid from Port Lavaca was tearing up that Challenge Table while I was watching...

He was running out from everywhere against all comers...

While I was watching the table, I saw Steve Lenz break and run 6 times playing 8-ball. Another guy that was on fire was Gus, he was getting out from everywhere!!

Those are very nice pictures that you snapped Trigger. Thanks for letting us see them and all that you do for the exciting game of pocket billiards. It's a great pleasure just knowing you.

Men's Team Finals

The No-Names (Steve Davenport, Al Mason) from Austin defeated The Tribe with Ricky Reed, Hassan Hossein and David E (Also from Austin) in a decent 2 match set 13-6 and 13-10 (I think)

No Names were on a path of destruction having destroyed Texas Express and The Corporation earlier that day.

Look for more results soon on the BCAPL website or Inside Pool.com
