Have You Seen This "Luxury" Table before?

Some of you might think I have been hiding under a rock but I have never seen or heard of this table before. I stumbled upon it when looking for something else entirely different, took the virtual tour, and thought some of you would like to do the same as well. Click on some of the features -- especially Items 5, 6, and 7.

I'm thinking Europe and EXPENSIVE in the same sentence.....
Gold or Platinum inlays ONLY.....
I like the features, but no mention of the internal components or structural pictures outside of the purty stuff....
Not even rubber or slate origination.
The rails look like they would be fairly interesting to do, as would tightening up the pockets, since I'm really not sure of what they did with those pockets going from the 3-d view. No mention of the composition, so I'm not sure if they used rubber or....
Maybe Glen would have some thoughts in the Mechanics section....
I would definately like to see one and do some work on it to see what makes it tick, and get a look inside befind the "mask".
But it looks cool!
I guess that if Santa wanted to come by later and rearrange things and leave one of those under the tree, I'd go ahead and play on it tomorrow....lol
Right after I bought a hotshot to keep the kids and cats away from it!

These tables have just come onto the market, that's why you haven't seen them before.
Well know French player, Vincent Facquet is closely associated with the project and I am sure that no detail has been left out.

I threw the link up in the Mechanic section to get some of the guys in here to see it.
It looks like it has good attention to detail, but I'm going to have to make an effort to get more info from them about it.
I'd like a heads up in case they find their way over here somehow. Maybe they'll have some at Vegas. Everything ends up in Vegas.lol

Although I'm going to plead ignorant redneck for a second and ask someone to pronounce that last name for me.
Cause at first glance, I already know I'm going to offend somebody!
I've been out of Louisiana a long time, and just wanna double check first!

Happy Holidays!

I'll steal your ignorant redneck thunder for a second Cuephoric..

How on earth would you go about leveling something like that??

Some of the features are excellent....particularly that built in cue drawer.

But is it just me, or does the table look cheap? I mean, obviously it's not, but the floral design on the legs really reminds me of a bad tribal design you'd see in an arcade somewhere.

Even still, a very cool idea.

haha! Sounds like, "fa KAy".:D

I know they were going for a distinctive look, but criminy!!! Only Liberace or Jean Luc Picard could fit that into his home decor.

Why not go for a more traditional look with the same features?

I guess the owner of this table is giving his guests a not-so-subtle built-in message : I am so rich, I can afford to be ridiculous, and I don't care.

BTW, in case you were wondering about the metric dimensions given, it is 100 x 50 inches, playing surface.

Everyone, do not go to this website unless you want to take a chance of being infected by malware. My TrendProject says it is a BAD WEBSITE!

I'm impressed with a few of the design features. The lighted pockets, integrated rack, storage drawer, and smooth flowing aesthetic are very nice. I agree with the comments above about the floral pattern (damask?) is over the top...but not surprising from a French designer.

The target audience is a long way from the guy that thinks a GC in the basement is high end. The real audience will love the more...uh...garish touches.
