You're jealous, heck, I'm envious. Love how the curvy grain at the joint lines up perfect. That really sets it off.

i pm'ed ryan a couple of times to get the order down but he went and ran with it on his own. all i wanted was a thin buttcap, a radial pin and the joint and buttcap wood to match the handle wood. he went and made the grain match on either side of the ring above and below the handle, not to mention the grain at the joint. when i went to pick it up my jaw dropped.

up my alley too. im glad he liked it but i wanted it for myself at the same time.
 
Rat cue

Really nice looking cue Lefty. The grain pattern really compliments the BEM and the green dashes just set everything off perfectly. That's a great gift for your pops! Nice job.

Thank you for the kind words cyrex. Ryan does a fantastic job. i just picked one of his stock cues and asked if he could change it up just a bit and he blew it out of the water.

my father was kinda mad when i gave it to him. i took his case as he wanted me to clean up his shaft on his viking so i took it with me to leagues and cleaned the shaft but i put this cue in its place. when i got done with leagues i went back to his house and gave him his case and watched as he took it out. he realized immediately it wasnt his viking and looked at me kind of sternly saying, "what did you do?" i just sat back and smiled and said merry christmas and happy birthday. he was upset but at the same time i could see his eyes start to tear up as he took it out and looked it over. i think he 's enjoying it as ive been hearing from other people that hes been bragging it up at the pool hall and at leagues.

Thats how I do. I always give a gift that I would want myself.

If I wouldnt want it, why the hell would someone else want it?

Beautiful cue, and to date I do not think Ryan has received the credit he deserves for his work which is not only top notch, but also very affordable.

is it ever a matter of need? for me and most others here i believe its more
a matter of want. im more than happy ryan. and i know he is too.



to anyone trying to decide on a cuemaker for their first custom cue, DO NOT hestitate to go with Ryan. he truly is top notch to work with and strives to please. a true perfectionist.:thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:
