Presumably you must be talking about the longer of my two sentences which you quoted.

Apparently your imagination and observational skills don't extend to casting your eye the short distance of two posts away from your own post.

I don't think the length of the following (longer) sentence, or my own, is unusual.

Congressional Democrats must wonder if a White House that has burdened them with a too-heavy policy agenda in the last year has a strong enough political operation to help push that agenda through.

From a grammatical point of view, do you think that any necessary punctuation is missing from my long sentence?

From the point of view of being able to understand the meaning of my long sentence, do you think there is any punctuation which could be inserted as an improvement?

Actually it could well have been intended as simply an observation or even as some kind of compliment as opposed to a criticism. We won't know until Nostroke clarifies.

Sorry for not picking up on whose post you were referring to Nostroke. I knew there was something about how I was interpreting your post which didn't quite fit but couldn't put my finger on what it was despite how obvious what you meant appears now. That is one reason why I replied in the open way that I did looking for more info on what you were on about. My bad.

When I get angry at one thing I often don't see other connected things as clearly as I should, a fault which I readily recognise.........one reason why I try not to get angry too often.

I'm still angry, none of which was directed at you Nostroke.......but it'll pass. Some things just aren't worth the energy.
