U.S. Open adjustments?

This is my favorite tournament to-date, and I look forward to this, and Q-Master every year. It is my only "vacation-by-appointment", and I always have a great time. Just thought I'd share some suggestions of changes that might improve the event. Here goes:

Stop posting the schedule and table assignments on a small board in hand-written format next to the ticket booth. Given the narrow corridor it creates a lot of traffic jam. It is 2011, perhaps we can find a way to project this electronically?

Stop having one tournament chart
in the dining room in hand-written format. Again, this creates a crowd when it can be easily projected on a wall in multiple locations...and the tournament directors can manage it from a laptop behind a desk in the arena.

Don't place the press room at the corner of table 1. This should be moved to the opposite end of the arena, out of everyone's way. The photographers do a fine job of getting in everyone's way already taking their photos and video recordings.

Accu-Stats should not broadcast the TV table matches in the same corner as the press room, right next to table 1. This is cause for even more traffic. The TV table is already broadcast on a huge screen on the other end of the arena, which should be more than sufficient.

Try controlling the traffic by table 1 a little better. When Ralf Souquet was playing Raj Hundal there was a huge crowd and the noise was really bad. These players spend a lot of money, travel from far away and spend thousands of hours practicing to give us, the fans, a very high-quality level of play. They deserve better than to have to endure some loud fans who are too lazy to find a seat and want to stand as close to the table as possible, making noise on top of it.

Have more food choices at the concession stand. Hot dogs and cold sandwiches are not enough.

Improve match scheduling. No one should have to sit in the arena until 4:00 AM for any reason.

Many thanks for that information.
I'll be sure to send them my suggestions.

Even if they only change just one that would be a good thing.
