I dont know if this post should go here. Lets say I ordered a Custom Pool Cue with. 4points with veners. Same points on the but sleeve. No wrap. Wood Handle. No Enlays. How long could you plan on waiting for something like this.. I know. I depends on who is making the cue and how big of wait that person has. But is 6 months to long, Is a year to long. I just dont know.

I have to make my mind up to buy a cue at Valley Forge. Or to have one made. Thanks in advance for any opions.

I'm afraid this really is a wide open question. Lot depends on who builds it. Are you looking for a big name builder? Generally speaking, the bigger the name, the longer the wait.
Ask this question in the Ask The Cuemaker area of this forum. You should get some more useful information in communication with actual cuemakers. Trust me, you can get a very good quality, very good playing custom cue delivered in 5 to 9 months. Much depends on KNOWING what you want.
Best of luck to you!

Wait til SBE and buy a cue. It's not too far away and you will have the cue in hand when you purchase it. You will get out there and s#%t your pants when you see the amount of cues for sale there!!

This is a issue you should ask the prospective maker of your cue. There is no right or wrong answer. It isn't fair to expect the same time standard from different cue makers.
