So I am aways asked about the fanciest work done by Paradise and if I had ever seen it. I have been lucky enough to see 3 ebony / ebony diamond kings. Two are with the original owners and this one. This cue was in need of some resto, and we trusted Steve Klein (Cutter / AZ) and he did not disappoint. This is as good a restoration as we have ever received.
Hi-lights of this cue are:
Ebony/ebony 5 veneer Spain blank, natural, red, black, red, natural veneers.
88 MOP inlays
11 ring pack assembly above the wrap
Original by Paradise foil
All original parts
We sent the cue out and it came back as close to perfect as you can expect from a cue this age. You're not going to get rid of glue lines, etc.. that were part of Franks process. So in that regard, nothing you can do. But this cue, is as good as a Diamond King gets. The rings are now smooth, the cue is fairly straight. Right now it's definately a show cue.
