This is by far one of the best full splice blanks that I've seen from the early 1900.
It's a vintage James Reiper blank that I picked up that original was acquired from a collection in Japan.
If you notice, the splice points at both the top and bottom are both sharp!!!
Very rare to see that in a full splice. They would have to start with a larger piece of wood to achieve this...back in the 30's.

This conversion was done by me with help from Mike Miller on all the inlays.
Butt: 15.75oz, 3/8-11 brass pin, wrap less full splice, Ivory Joint, Ivory Butt Cap.
Shaft: 3.67oz, 12.95mm, Medium Kamui black
CM360: 3.76oz, 13.05mm, Hard Molavia

I have over 1500 invested into this cue...asking for $1800.00 Shipped.
The inlay works alone with ivory joint and ivory butt cap is about 1K. The blank itself was over 400.00 and the shafts are high quality shaft woods.

This is one of the best full splice example that I've seen from the 1920's. Both top and bottom points are sharped and very even. This cue plays great with the SW shaft.
