Hi, I originally signed up many years ago, forgot my info so I signed up again in 2012 with a new name and have popped in occasionally, but I'm finally taking up the game again, really excited to see what I can do, so I'll be on here full time now.

I just wanted to say hello to the board and thanks for keeping this going for all of these years. I'll buy a membership asap, awaiting a new credit card to come from bank, last one expired on me, what a hassle as I was traveling and wasn't paying attention. Haha!!

If there's a thread for these types of posts please move or I can and this one can be deleted. Thanks!!

Take care,
Chris Roeder

Lysdexia206,

Is there anything in particular that has you in the game again? I only ask because you said you wanted to see what you could do. I figure since going pro in 5 years seems to be a reasonable quest lately that that might have been the spark.
If not, and just want to catch-up and get better, I would recommend the latter for the short term.

I was wondering the same thing.

I'll start one and request that the Admin makes it a sticky.

Lysdexia huh?
....did you ever shoot the 8 before the 9?

You gonna get along just fine here

Yea!! That was me, APA league at Sportsmans Billiards in 95-96. Good times!!!

Great memory!!!

Although we've played, we didn't really know each other. What I remember you had a respectable game. Glad to see you're getting back in the game. I prefer to remain anonymous here and don't want to mention peoples full names, but at that time I played with Rudy, Kurt, Dean, Brent, Chief and others I can't remember. I'm sure you remember a couple of them.

Welcome to AZB! May you not wear your feelings on your sleeve.

Yea Scratch

I remember all of those cats, had a blast playing with everyone there.

Are you still playing league?

I tend to stick with O.Brians when I'm back visiting, Sportsman's seemed to let their tables go :frown:

I haven't played league since then.

Sportsman's tables were never very good. Dead rails and a trough in the felt along each rail. I remember, a slow roller would hug the rail all the way to the pocket. I hear it's a college bar on weekends.

Welcome back aboard, Chris. May everyone take it
easy on you, but that's a lot to ask around here:)

Thanks guys!

I'm living in Vegas now, know of any players or halls where we can hit them around? Not looking for money games, just practice. Thanks!

Good Timez....New England pro Teddy Garahan is one of the partners...good guy.
I also go to the Cue Club on Sahara...but I'm prejudiced...the owner, Henry Nogiec is
from Canada.
