Please excuse this if this is posted elsewhere. I did a search and couldn't find an answer to MY question..
I have a Cue Master standard 8 ft slate table. I have ordered Simonis 860, and can't help but notice the dull "thud" when I hit a cushion. They aren't terrible, but I won't recover my cushions until I find new ones.
NOW- I saw on amazon they have k66 (which I'm confident is what it takes) and was ready to order, but decided to double check if they will work.
A couple of months ago I found a blog with my exact table (almost) being reassembled. The author turned out to be a pool table company out of Vegas. I called them and of course, no one there still works there from when the blog was made. But what he did tell me was that every table has it's own specific set of cushions, and that one must order THAT specific set for their respective table.
My question is what have you all done when replacing cushions? I am sure that with Valleys and other popular tables cushions for those tables are easy to come across.. But my table isn't manufactured anymore, and hasn't been for a very long time. I'm not trying to spend $500 on cushions, but if it comes down to it I may, as the table was free.
Will these cushions more than likely work?
Any other recommendations?
